This December sees the start of The Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge. It’s hard to believe it, but more people have currently been in to space than rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, and this year Kingsland Polymers Limited is proud to be supporting a team of 4 ex-servicemen known as The Atlantic Mavericks. The team of Roy Dixon, Ian Davies, Richard ‘Tiny’ Baker and Ian Duncan took up the challenge after Ian Davies managed to overcome multiple myeloma – a form of bone marrow cancer, and so are putting all their efforts in to raising money for ‘Myeloma UK’, as well as charities ‘The Royal British Legion’ and ‘353’.

The last year has seen big changes at Kingsland Polymers, with a complete upgrade of our computer hardware, and switch to superfast broadband. We have also engaged the services of Information Solutions Limited, based locally here in Shrewsbury, to manage our IT systems and ensure consistency and avoid any down time.

The Web Orchard (sister company to Information Solutions) have re-designed our website, and we hope you find it easy to navigate and contains the information you’d most like to see. Any feedback greatly received!

Kingsland Polymers completed negotiations to purchase a new warehouse on 31st March 2016 and subsequently, the site became fully owned outright in July 2016. Located in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, Kingsland Polymers now has its own storage facilities in the Midlands as well as access to existing warehouses in Northwich, Cheshire and Southampton, Hampshire, making us well positioned to meet deliveries across the UK in a timely fashion.

Kingsland Polymers sponsored the North Downs Run, for the fifth year in succession. Listed in the top 10 races in 2015 on Runnersworld.co.uk this is a local race with a national reputation organised by Istead & Ifield Harriers (Isteadandifield.org.uk). The challenging multi-terrain event of approximately 30K used established tracks and lanes over the beautiful North Downs.  Chip Timing, Technical T-shirt, Medal and a Goody Bag were handed out to all finishers. 

Kingsland Polymers recently appeared in the Shropshire Star, having taken the decision to sponsor the Porthill Traffic Island in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury.

We are pleased to report that this year, Kingsland Polymers are sponsoring the North Downs Runs on Sunday June 19th 2011.

Runner's World Readers voted this event as the 2nd best race in the country during 2008. As well as the main 30 km run, a children's fun run will also be held, and charities including Cerebral Palsy Centre Cliffe Woods, Shorne/Meopham Scouts and Ellenor Lion Hospices are all set to benefit from the support of everyone on the day.

After twelve succesful years in the Polymer industry, we've taken the opportunity to upgrade all our IT systems. New computer hardware and the latest in bespoke software solutions for all our activity can only mean even better, quality driven service for all our customers, both loyal and new.
